If I was HOPE
I would fix
All the problems in the world.
I would fix all of the houses.
And I would go to all of the cities and
Fix all of their problems.
I would make Detroit a crime free city by
Making something to make everybody good.
This brings HOPE to Detroit.

Excel Photography Program engages local high school students in a project-based photography and leadership development curricula coupled with exciting field trips throughout southeastern Michigan.
Excel provides instruction in the technical and aesthetic aspects of 35mm digital photography and an introduction to the foundations of black and white film photography. Photographic assignments are outcome-based in that students plan and execute their ideas, and evaluate their finished projects through student-led critiques.
Excel’s format is designed to provide participants with individualized instruction via mentor-led teams. This model accommodates each student’s strengths and weaknesses, and fosters positive relationships between young people and caring adults.
